The ASSA ABLOY DP profile is the security cylinder and has an international patent. This patent protects against the unauthorized copying of keys and the use of key certificates. These cylinders have been developed with double independent blocking mechanisms, which protects against lock picking and manipulation. The DP cylinders are available in SKG 2 stars and SKG 3 stars. It is also possible to obtain a basic cylinder without SKG stars. The SKG approved DP cylinders are therefore compliant with the 'Politiekeurmerk Veilig Wonen'.
